Everyone, young and old, can start with Energize! Energizers are group activities that bring people closer together. They ensure an animated mood and create a positive group climate.

Anyone can join in. The rules are easy and the emphasis is on spontaneity, developing social skills, and having fun. Energizers require no special skills and can be conducted at any location. They are suitable for any group, groups of different sizes as well as different ages. All you need is a group, a location, and a supervisor.

How to use energizers?

The easiest way to learn how to do an energizer is by doing one! Always start with a brief description of the activity and the objective. By joining-in in the energizer yourself, you create a closer relationship with your group. See to it that everyone is treated with kindness and respect. It is possible that some participants may not be comfortable with certain activities, for example activities that involve physical contact. Safety comes first, so never require someone to join in with something he doesn’t really want.

Energizers are flexible and the rules can be customised. Some activities may be too hard or too difficult for some. Alter the rules, the materials, or the boundaries, to make the game as pleasant as possible, and to involve everyone.

Most energizers come with processing questions and explanation in order to reflect the exercise with the participants.

Get to know each other better and encourage working together. Energizers are available in different categories such as meet and greet, working together, and dealing with conflicts. The home screen of the app gives an overview of the available categories. Click on the respective category to view the energizers. Each category includes two free energizers. You can expand your selection by purchasing all energizers within a category.

Through the convenient search filter, you will easily find an energizer that is suitable for your situation. You can filter by group size, duration, and whether any preparation is required.

Per category you can purchase an additional bundle of energizers. You can choose yourself for which category/categories you want to purchase more energizers. A total of 60 energizers are available in the app.

The Energize-books contains over 100 activities per book. In the books you will find energizers in many different categories, such as meet and greet, working together, confidence, communication exercises, making groups, solving problems and saying goodbye. Just like in the app, these energizers come with directions, instructions, and variants. The book includes tips and processing questions for even more effective use of energizers.
